Possibilities and challenges heading for a low-emission society.

  • To avoid a temperature raise of more than 2 percent, emissions  have to be reduced by 50 – 85 percent from the year 2015 until 2050, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

  • What is required of technological development and behaviour change to create a low-carbon economy?

  • Is it possible to create new jobs and increase the standard of living as we seek to establish a low-emission society?
